EDP Delivery Urban Partners
EDP serves every day people with disabilities across the whole province of British Columbia. Through strategic alliances and partnerships, EDP is ready to assist both rural and urban entrepreneurs who self-disclose disabilities.
The Urban Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Initiative (UEDI) was established in 1998 to extend the services of EDP into the Greater Vancouver and Victoria regions.
EDP in urban areas goes by the name of the ABLED program: Assistance and Business Loans for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities. ABLED is delivered by two outstanding community-based credit unions in British Columbia urban catchment areas:
Coast Capital Savings Credit Union (Coast Capital) and Vancouver City Savings Credit Union (Vancity)
We recommend that if you bank at either of these fine credit unions you visit your branch to discuss ABLED.
